A plain account of what Video Downloader Proxy Browser does with information, what never leaves your phone, and how to put a question to MAITRY FABRICATION.
Who publishes the app
MAITRY FABRICATION is an engineering and fabrication business in Gujarat, India. It also publishes Video Downloader Proxy Browser on Google Play and maintains this website. In the paragraphs below, “we” and “our” refer to MAITRY FABRICATION.

Anything to do with privacy is best sent by email, so there is a written record on both sides.
Where this policy applies
It applies in two places. The first is the Android app Video Downloader Proxy Browser, which we distribute only through Google Play. The second is this website, which exists to describe that app and to publish our legal pages and support details.
Other companies are outside it. Installing and updating the app happens on Google Play, under Google's terms and Google's privacy policy. Any website you reach from a link here, or through the app's built-in browser, is operated by somebody else and applies its own policy to you while you are there.
What the app collects
Nothing reaches us from the app. The Data safety information filed with the app on Google Play states three things:
- no user data is collected;
- no user data is shared with third parties;
- data is encrypted in transit.
There is no registration step, no login, no profile and no server of ours behind the app. We do not receive the links you paste, the addresses you type into the built-in browser, the statuses or reels you save, or a list of the files sitting in your library. Since none of it arrives, none of it can be stored, analysed or passed on by us.
That Data safety entry is the authoritative description of the app's behaviour, and this page is written to say the same thing. The current version is always visible in the Data safety section of the Google Play listing.
What stays on your phone
The app keeps its work locally. Videos, reels and statuses you download are written to storage on the device you are holding. So is the record of what the offline player has opened, and so are your app preferences.
All of that belongs to your device, not to us. Remove a single file from within the app or from your own file manager, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app entirely, and it is gone. We cannot look at any of it while it is there, and we cannot bring it back once you have deleted it, so keep your own copies of anything you care about.
Permissions and their purpose
The app asks for the few permissions its job needs, and no more.
Storage
Needed so a finished download can be written to your device, and so the offline player and the download list can read the files they show you. Without it there is nowhere to put a saved video.
Network access
Needed so the built-in browser can load a page and so the downloader can fetch the file after you have chosen an available quality. Every download starts as a network request.
The permissions declared by the version you have installed are listed on the Play listing and in Android's own app settings screen, where you can review them and take one back at any time. Withdrawing a permission does not send us anything; it simply stops the feature that relied on it.
Advertising in the app
The app is free to install and carries ads, as its Play listing says. Advertising is what pays for building and maintaining it.
The ads themselves come from third-party advertising partners, not from us. To choose an ad, avoid repeating it and measure whether it was seen, such a partner may process technical signals from the device, including the Android advertising identifier, under its own privacy policy. That handling is the partner's, done on the partner's systems. Nothing from it is sent on to MAITRY FABRICATION, and it does not change our own position, which is that we hold nothing.
You can steer this from the device. In the Android Settings app — under Google or Privacy, depending on the phone and the Android version — you can reset the advertising identifier, delete it outright, and switch off ad personalisation. Ads can still appear afterwards; they are simply chosen with less about you.
We deliberately do not print the name of an ad network on this page, because the entry Google publishes is the one that is kept current: read the Data safety section of the app's Play listing for the declaration in force.
Sites reached through the browser
The app has a built-in browser with proxy support, so you can search or type an address and open a supported site to download from it. Those sites are run by other organisations. Each decides for itself what it logs, which cookies it writes and what its privacy policy promises, in the same way it would if you had opened it in Chrome.
Read a site's own policy before you sign in to it or hand it anything personal. The browser inside the app is a browser, not a VPN: it does not make you anonymous, and it is not a route around a site's rules or a network's restrictions. We receive no list of the addresses you open or the searches you run.
Children
The app carries a Google Play content rating of Everyone. It is a general-purpose downloader, browser and media player meant for adults; it is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed to attract them.
We do not knowingly gather personal information from a child. Because the app collects no user data from anybody, there is no children's data held in connection with it either. If you think a child has emailed personal details to our support address, write to contact@maitryfabrication.shop and we will delete the message from the mailbox.
This website
maitryfabrication.shop is a set of plain static pages. It writes no cookies of its own, loads no analytics or tracking script, and has no form, sign-in or account, so there is nothing here for you to submit and nothing for us to keep.
The pages still have to be served by a hosting provider, and hosting providers keep ordinary server logs — usually the requesting IP address, a timestamp, the page requested and the browser's user-agent string. Those records exist to deliver the site and keep it available and secure. We do not use them to build a profile of a visitor, and we do not join them to anything else.
Your choices
Most of the levers that matter sit on your own device rather than with us:
- delete any downloaded file, or clear the app's storage, whenever you like;
- review or withdraw a permission from Android's app settings;
- reset or delete the advertising identifier and turn off ad personalisation in Android Settings;
- uninstall the app, which takes its files and preferences off the device with it.
The data protection law that applies where you live may also give you rights, such as asking what personal data a business holds about you, having it corrected, or having it erased. For the app there is normally nothing for us to produce, because nothing is collected. Where you have written to us or telephoned us, that correspondence does exist on our side, and you can ask for a copy of it or ask us to delete it.
Send the request to contact@maitryfabrication.shop and we will work through it.
Keeping information safe
The app's Data safety declaration records that data is encrypted in transit, and this website is served over HTTPS. Support messages sit in an ordinary business mailbox, reachable only by the accounts we have given access to.
No transmission or storage method is perfectly secure, and we are not going to claim otherwise. What we can point to is how little there is to attack: no user accounts, no customer database, and no copy of anyone's downloads on a server of ours.
Revisions to this page
When this policy changes, the new wording is published here and the “Last updated” date at the top changes with it. There is no newsletter to announce it, so that date is the signal to watch.
If a change ever alters what the app itself does with data, the Google Play Data safety declaration is updated in the same round, so the two statements cannot drift apart.
This address is the one filed as the application's privacy policy, and it stays reachable at maitryfabrication.shop/privacy-policy.
